Café 50+: A story-sharing workshop in words and drawings
Writing from Life: A story-sharing workshop in words and drawings
Memory is a powerful key to unlocking our stories. Author Kathleen Winter will guide three short writing/drawing exercises that tap into images and emotions from personal memory: places, people or situations that have been important to us. We will use informal sketching and drawing to illustrate our work and will encourage each other to read our stories out loud. No artistic or writing experience required: just bring your willingness to write and have fun.
Kathleen Winter writes novels, memoirs and short stories. Her novel, Annabel, was a #1 bestseller, and her new novel Undersong reimagines the life of Dorothy Wordsworth, sister of English poet William Wordsworth.
