Notice of Meeting – Annual General Meeting 2021
The Sutton Volunteer Centre will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, September 9th, 2021, at 9:30 a.m., at the Olivet Baptist Church, the future site of the Maison des générations Olivet House (7, Maple), in compliance with current public health measures.
At the meeting, Board directors will report on the activities and financial statements for 2020-2021. The goals and priorities for the coming year will also be discussed, as well as a report on the progress of the Maison des generations Olivet House project.
Elections will be held to fill 6 out of seven positions on the Board of Directors. 5 of those are held by members finishing a 2-year mandate, and one is held by someone who is unable to finish their mandate. As we must say farewell to our beloved treasurer, we are especially looking for someone with a background in accounting or finance. Please note that 3 members of the board whose seats are due for election wish to renew their mandate.
If you would like to apply for one of the open positions on the Board, please do so in writing before September 1rst 2021, which is five business days before the AGM (Section 4.2 of the By-laws).
