Important dates

  • At your home during door-to-door collection – Sunday, December 6
  • Directly at the CAB, 7 Maple Street, before Friday, December 12

Anyone in need of food assistance can request a holiday food basket by November 20.
Distribution: Saturday, December 12.

We accept donations

MONETARY DONATIONS

    • Cash donations in the Knights of Columbus collection boxes
      • At most businesses in Sutton anf Abercorn

    • By cheque dropped off at the CAB
      • Tax receipt upon request for donations by cheque

IN-KIND DONATIONS

We gratefully accept the items listed below. Please ensure that all products are new, in unopened packaging, and are items that you would use or consume yourself.

Food Items:

    • Basic products: pasta, rice, couscous, quinoa, flour, sugar, boxed cereals

    • Canned and jarred goods: soups, vegetables, legumes (beans, chickpeas, lentils), tomato sauce / canned tomatoes, canned tuna, salmon or chicken, canned fruit

    • Prepared / essential product: peanut butter or other nut butters, jams, various sauces (pasta, chili, etc.), broth (beef, chicken, vegetable), UHT milk or shelf-stable plant-based milk

    • Non-perishable snacks: granola bars, cookies, crackers

Personal and Household Hygiene Products:

    • For families: diapers (especially sizes 5 and 6), baby wipes, body soap, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant

    • Oral and feminine hygiene: toothpaste, toothbrushes (children and adults), dental floss, tampons, sanitary pads, pantyliners

    • Household essentials: laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels
