The Sutton Volunteer Center has recently adopted a Policy for the Prevention of Psychological and Sexual Harassment at Work. The Policy applies to both employees and volunteers of the Sutton Volunteer Center.
Harassment at work is a violation of the rights of employees and volunteers working for the Centre d’action bénévole/Sutton Volunteer Centre (CAB). Consequently, CAB will take the action necessary to prevent and stop any harassment at work. This CAB Policy for the Prevention of Psychological and Sexual Harassment at Work forms part of the Policy for the Conditions of Work.
– Help build awareness and inform and educate the community in order to prevent psychological and sexual harassment.
– Maintain a harassment-free work environment to protect the dignity as well as the physical and psychological integrity of employees and volunteers.
– Establish mechanisms to provide the support, assistance and recourse needed by any victims of harassment.
